Alleged Debit-Card Thief at YMCA Makes RI Most Wanted List

Debit cards stolen from the Bayside YMCA in Barrington were used by a white man at Rite Aid and CVS pharmacies on County Road.

A white male suspect believed to have stolen debit cards from the Bayside YMCA in Barrington has made the most wanted list in Rhode Island.

The man is described by the Barrington Police Department as of medium height and build and with a light complexion, according to the most wanted list.

The police department is seeking help in identifying the man who stole the cards from the YMCA on West Street.

The man is alleged to have used the stolen cards on June 8, and July 6, 7, and 11 at the Rite Aid pharmacy, 236 County Road. Police said the man used the cards to purchase “numerous gift cards.” 

The same man reportedly “obtained gift cards fraudulently by using stolen debit/credit cards at the CVS, 180 County Road, on July 6," according to the police.
