Virginia Cicerchia, 92, Holy Angels Church Communicant

Her calling hours are today and her funeral is Saturday from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home in Riverside.

Virginia Cicerchia, formerly of Maple Avenue, Barrington, died peacefully on October 1, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the Grace Barker Nursing Home, Warren. She was 92.

She was the wife of the late Michael Cicerchia. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late John and Maybel (Bird) Kerr, she lived in Barrington and Riverside for many years. 

Cicerchia was a jewelry inspector for Catamore Jewelry Mfg. for five years before retiring in 1979.  She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church in Barrington. She assisted her late husband, Michael, in helping build the church grotto. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, cooking and baking. 

She is survived by a son; Robert Cicerchia of Coventry, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Michele DaCosta and sister of the late Robert C. Kerr. 

Her funeral will be held on Saturday Oct. 5, 2013 from the  W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:15 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angel Church at 9:30 am. Burial will follow in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington.
