Roberta (Farina) Carvalho, 65, Former Cosmetologist, Travel Agent

Roberta F. (Farina) Carvalho, of Barrington,passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. She was 65.

She was married to Gerald B. Carvalho for 40 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Elvira (D'Anella) Farina.

She was a graduate of Barrington High School and the Arthur Angelo School of Cosmetology. After retiring as a hairdresser, she followed her passion for travel and became manager at Jet Tours Travel World in Pawtucket.

She was an Officer of Sons of Italy, Loggia Maria 2406, and a member of the Elks and Eagles organizations.

Besides her husband she leaves her daughter Rachel and her son Randy Carvalho. She was the sister of Joann Gregory of Colorado and loving aunt to her niece. She will be deeply missed by many cousins and loving friends.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 3, at 8 am from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Luke's Church, 108 Washington Road, Barrington. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
