David F. Frederick, 46, Barrington Firefighter, EMT

His funeral services will be private.

David F. Frederick, of Carlton Street, Barrington, died on Jan. 16, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was 46.

He was the beloved husband of Donna (DeMeo) Frederick. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, a son of John J. and Louise C. (Trudeau) Frederick of Barrington, he was a lifelong resident of Barrington. 

Frederick was a professional firefighter for the Barrington Fire Department for the past 13 years. He was an emergency medical technician-cardiac and a firefighter level 2. 

He was a graduate of Barrington High School Class of 1985, where he was a member of the 1984 state champion hockey team. He was a graduate of CCRI class of 1992.

He was a member of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local #1774. He enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with his loving son, Brett. He loved his Rottweiler’s and cruising. He was a devoted Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. 

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a beloved son, Brett D. Frederick of Barrington; two sisters, Marianne Frederick and her husband Stanley Fafara Jr. of Warren and Joan Frederick of Barrington; a niece; Sydney Frederick of Barrington; a maternal grandmother, Lorraine Fricault of Southboro, Mass. and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

His funeral service will be private. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in his memory to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI, 02915 would be deeply appreciated.
