BBA hosting a town stroll which kicks off at a liquor store : (

I continue to be disappointed in the BBA (Barrington Business Association) and their choice of "Community" events in our town. The harvest stroll is marketed to kick off at a liquor store.  With the severe level of underage substance use in Barrington it would make sense to offer community events that did not support, market, or involve alcohol.  We have a town rich in family friendly activity options.  Kick off the event at Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or Shaws all of which are alcohol free zones.  Let's encourage the BBA to focus on "better choices" as we all strive to have our children do the same.  Lead by example.  "What you do speaks so loud that I cannot hear what you say." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
