View 'Last Waltz', Photography Exhibit

Barrington library continues its rock 'n roll film series in May with the documentary, "The Last Waltz'; East Bay Center opens a display of photography by its consumers.

A continues at the at 7 pm with “The Last Waltz,” considered one of the best rock documentaries of all time. It chronicles The Band’s final concert in 1976 with Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr, Neil Young, Muddy Waters, Joni Mitchell and other music legends performing with The Band. Music and film aficionado Scott Duhamel will discuss director Martin Scorsese after the movie.

A reception from 12 to 2 pm opens a done by consumers of the , 2 Old County Road, who are recovering from mental illness or addiction.

A that runs every Thursday evening in May continues at 6 pm at the courts at . Tony Cunha, a local tennis professional, is teaching the course. You can still register through the Barrington Recreation Department at 247-1925. Cost is $50.
