It's Victory Day, Vets to Lay Wreath

Just about all businesses are open today but the Barrington Town Hall, library and Senior Center are closed for the RI holiday.

Today is Victory Day in Rhode Island – the only state to celebrate the holiday. Most businesses are open. All state and Barrington government offices, the library and the Senior Center are closed.

Barrington’s will lay a wreath at the Honor Roll in front of Town Hall during an 11 am ceremony. The chaplain for VFW Post 9742 will lead a prayer.

There will be today because of Victory Day. Your trash will be picked up tomorrow.
