Cary Grant Films End; Farmers' Market

The final matinee showing of Cary Grant films in the Barrington library ends with "North by Northwest'; farmers' market at Haines park.

The May matinee film series on Cary Grant hosted by librarian Doug Swiszcz concludes today at 2 pm in the Barrington library auditorium. Grant stars with Eva Marie Saint in “,” a 1959 Alfred Hitchcock-directed romantic comedy-thriller that casts Grant as a Manhattan ad executive pursued by enemy spies who think he is a CIA agent.

Bring your lunch and your questions on to the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, 16 Cutler St., Warren, every other Wednesday starting at noon with Heather Satterley, an intuit advanced certified advisor.

A runs at Haines Memorial State Park on the Barrington/East Providence line from 2 to 6 pm.
