The weekly Barrington Farmers’ Market is hosting another free electronics recycling drop-off event by Indie Cycle of Charlestown, RI, from 9 am to noon.

Bring the gear that is doing nothing but taking up space in your house to the Barrington Congregational Church -- the “White Church” -- on County Road. It's your chance to get rid of  all types of electronic items, including computers, printers, stereo equipment, microwaves, TVs, monitors, cell phones, and small appliances.”

There will be a $10 disposal charge for air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and mini-refrigerators.

Do not drop off any type of light bulb or single use disposable batteries, mattresses or any hazardous materials, such as paint and firearms.

Indie Cycle has a zero landfill policy and it will not remarket any hard drives or data storage devices, according to its website. The recycler is an authorized agent and partner with Good Point Recycling,of Middlebury, Vermont.
