Join Go Au Pair Providence in February

It' official. We have picked a date for our first cultural and social event of 2014. Go Au Pair Providence is happy to invite you to join us February 15th for an evening of snow tubing at Yawgoo Valley Ski and Sports Park in Exeter, RI. I hope you can make it, and bring some friends too!

And, if you think you may have missed out on some fun last year, you are right! But you could read about where Go A Pair Providence went last year; just visit my blog. Then stay tuned for the rest of this year's scheduled events, so you don't miss a single one!

We plan to tube for at least an hour, starting at 5pm, so arrive early to suit up in all your cold-weather gear! Also, important to note, tickets will be on sale ONLINE ONLY the week before our event.

You can also meet Rhode Island's newest Au Pair and his Host Family. Ask all the questions you like while your kids plan their own cultural child care experience!

You say you've never heard of Go Au Pair? We are one of the originally eight designated agencies to legally bring Au Pairs into the country to provide flexible, live-in childcare since 1989. The company is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, but Local Area Reps are all over the country. A group of Local Area Representatives, including myself, were invited to Utah last summer to participate in special training and meet fellow-blogger, Summer Blackhurst, who writes about Host Family / Au Pair Relationships, childcare, parenting and cultural exchange. You can read that too, at http://www.goaupair.com/host-families/blog.

We have very large groups, 20 or more au pairs living with families, in both Boston and Philadelphia, and Rhode Island is growing.  In fact, I have been working very hard to spread the word, so much so, that the main office would like to recognize any new host families who decide to match with an out-of-country au pair with a generous discount off program fees, as well as waiving the application fee.

What does that mean for you? You could have full-time, live-in childcare up to 45 flexible hours each week for an average of less than $8 an hour.  Visit www.goaupair.com/Providence for details.

You set the schedule, and can change it if you need to. You set the house rules, including curfew, telephone, food and internet/game usage.

Don't live your life around the daycare schedule anymore! Contact me and inquire about the Au Pair Program today. My name is Joan Lowell and you can reach me on my cell at 401.309.1925 or via email at jlowell@goaupair.com.

I look forward to seeing you in February for snow tubing, and perhaps hearing from you before that about becoming a Host Family.
