International Potluck Bayside at Colt State Park Tomorrow

Go Au Pair Providence will be visiting Colt State Park tomorrow, June 21st, the first official day of summer!

Family and friends are invited to stop by our picnic area to say hello, inquire about au pair childcare, or try a bite of one of our special treats. If you plan to attend, please bring a dish to share. Our reservation is under "Lowell."

It is the first day of summer, and what better place to enjoy it than beautiful Colt State Park in Bristol, RI? Colt State Park has 464 acres of rolling fields and stone walls, even 4 miles of bicycle trails along Narragansett Bay, along with over 400 picnic tables and several scenic views without comparison!

Our reserved site has great views, a fireplace, and is a one minute walk from the bathroom facility. Our reservation is from dawn till dusk, so feel free to plan an extended stay before or after our get-together. Admission and parking are free.

Keep in mind there is no electricity or refrigeration available, so use ice or ice packs if your food needs to stay cold! We do have a fireplace in our area, so feel free to bring marshmallows or ingredients for s'mores!

Also, please remember to label your food items with helpful information, like the name of the dish. If it is from your home country, maybe state that too, or maybe it is your new American favorite.  List the ingredients, particularly if it has any that may cause allergic reaction, such as eggs, peanut butter, shell fish, or wheat.

Can't wait to see you, tomorrow starting at noon! Bring your camera, sunscreen and relax by the bay! For more information, contact me, Joan Lowell, your Go Au Pair LAR (Local Area Representative) in the RI area, at 401.309.1925 or jlowell@goaupair.com. I look forward to meeting you tomorrow!
