Go Au Pair is Your RI area Sponsor!

Go Au Pair is your local J-1 Visa sponsor for the Au Pair Program. Our main office is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and we have Local Area Representatives, or LARs, in most U.S. states, including here in RI, CT and MA! I am Joan Lowell, your LAR in RI, and I want to educate you and your family about the opportunities for au pair childcare right here in Rhode Island, as well as nearby MA and CT.

Please take a minute to view our informative video. Save up to 15% when you host an au pair!

The Au Pair Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, and as your LAR, I am your local point-of-contact and support as you and your family participate in this unique cultural exchange opportunity.

If you've never heard of the Au Pair Program, it is a live-in childcare and cultural exchange program in which American families host international au pairs who provide full or part time childcare for a year or more. The Au Pair Program has several components, including an educational requirement for each au pair.

As your LAR, I am here to help you understand the program and get the most out of your year, or more, with an au pair. If you could use up to 45 hours of flexible childcare with a cultural twist, the Au Pair Program may be for you! Contact me or apply online for the most affordable and flexible program available to you.

Au Pairs can help with child-related tasks such as light meal prep and clean-up, tutoring, driving, language lessons and more! Your au pair can enhance your life in so many ways, from being the big brother or sister your kids have always wanted, to being the extra set of responsible eyes and ears you've always wanted!

Summer Blackhurst has interviewed dozens and dozens of families about their childcare choices, and the Au Pair Program never gets enough screen time! Take  a moment to read her blog, and then visit our local site to get started on your cultural childcare experience.

If you've already heard of the program, let me clarify. It is affordable. In fact, when I recently priced daycare options for my youngest three children, Go Au Pair beat out daycare and private nanny care!

Secondly, you have an array of choices, from the skills you need to the language you want your children to learn. Payment options are available, as well as part or full time, and you can set the schedule you need, even if it changes every month!

Finally, about the au pairs themselves, you will not find a group of more dedicated, energetic, courageous and responsible young people. These young men and women are experienced in childcare, desire to learn more about the American culture while being part of an actual family, and can bring the world to your child's fingertips each day for a year or more!
