Annual Golf Tourney Seeking Sponsors
The annual Barrington Recreation Department tournament in October is looking for business sponsors and golfers.
The Barrington Recreation Department is looking for sponsors for its annual golf tournament each October.
The tournament is played each year at the Rhode Island Country Club on Nayatt Road, considered one of the finest courses in southern New England. The date this year is Monday, Oct. 21.
“We are looking for local businesses to sponsor the event,” said Recreation Director Michele Geremia. “The tournament is open to Barrington residents and their out-of-town friends. Last year, we had more than 100 participants.

A couple of sponsorship options are available:
Sponsor a Tee = $100 – Company logo at Tee, on Tournament Banner and recognition at the golf reception

Gift Basket – Company recognition at the golf reception
“We are hopeful you will help make the event memorable and gain valuable exposure for your business at the same time,” Geremia said. “Your donation is tax deductible as well.”
“We would love for you to play, too,” she said.
More information on the event will be available soon on the town website.
