Amaral Family Fund Set Up to Handle Extra Costs of Treatments
Chris Amaral is fighting a serious illness and could use some financial help for extra costs of ongoing treatments.
The Amaral Family Fund was created on GoFundMe last week to help Chris Amaral of Barrington deal with the extra costs of his treatment.
Jim Braz, a close friend who created the fund on the online donation website on Dec. 13, said: “Hello Friends.....as some of you may know, our friend Chris Amaral is seriously ill, with your thoughts and prayers he is battling this with the love and support of his family and his usual upbeat, awesome personality.
“Your thoughts and prayers are awesome, but I want to get out in front of the extra costs associated with Chris's ongoing treatment. Anything you can give will help, so give what you can and thanks!”

The fund has a goal of $25,000. Over the first ix days, 13 donors contributed $1,350. Amounts ranged from $50 to $500.
