Amaral Family Fund Donations Climbing

So far, 52 donors are contributed more than $5,500 for extra costs of treatment for Chris Amaral of Barrington; goal is $25,000.

The Amaral Family Fund was created on GoFundMe in mid-December to help Chris Amaral of Barrington deal with the extra costs of treatment for his serious illness.

A close friend, Jim Braz, created the fund on the online donation website. He said:

“Hey everyone! Momentum is really building and thanks to all that have donated so far. The fund raising event for the family on Saturday Feb 22 at Crestwood CC is really starting to take shape. It is going to be fun night of music, dinner, and fun all to support a great cause. Keep those donations coming and we will see you all on 2/22.”

“Your thoughts and prayers are awesome, but I want to get out in front of the extra costs associated with Chris's ongoing treatment. Anything you can give will help, so give what you can and thanks!”
