RI Classroom Debut

Rhode Island Classroom:  An RIPBS produced program focusing on the most interesting and

innovative programs and people in our education system. Barrington resident and Host Margie O’Brien introduces viewers to

stand out teachers who are inspiring our students, break through courses

offered in area schools and new, exciting programs that are motivating students

to succeed.  In this episode of RI Classroom, we'll discover the changes to the GED test and hear from students who are hoping that this is the year they earn their High School diplomas.  Also, an innovative yoga and mindful practice curriculum in the city's elementary schools.  Through Resilient Kids, students are learning life long lessons on how to self regulate and cope during stressful times.  Finally,  a subject near and dear to high school seniors - getting into college and paying for it.  We'll hear from the experts how students can stand out on their application.
