Come and learn more about Brown University’s historic Ladd Observatory on Tuesday, October 1 at 7 PM at Barrington Public Library. Since October of 1891, Ladd Observatory has been involved with transit observations and timekeeping from its perch atop Tin-top Hill. Staff astronomer Francine Jackson will speak about the observatory and its vital role as a timekeeping center.
