In a Place Called Nockum: the Early History of Swansea, Barringtom & Warren

Did you ever wonder:

When was my town founded? Who founded it, and why?

For Swansea, Barrington
and Warren, the answer can be found in Nockum Hill — the location
of today's 4-‐Town Farm. For answers,
please come to a Forum sponsored by The Barrington Preservation Society, where the 17th–century history
of Nockum Hill and its importance for the founding
of Swansea, Barrington,
and Warren will be explored
by a team of speakers
who have been researching Nockum Hill
for over a year. You will learn that Nockum Hill contains the site of the first Baptist Meeting House in
the New World, and the first shots of King Philip's War (1675) were fired nearby.
