Great American Novels in Film: The Great Gatsby

To celebrate National Novel Writing Month this November the Barrington Public Library will screen two films that celebrate the Great American Novel.

Tuesday, November 12 at 7 PM will feature The Grapes of Wrath (1940) starring Henry Fonda and directed by John Ford. This film is not rated and is 129 minutes.

Thursday, November 14 at 7 PM will feature The Great Gatsby (2013) starring Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Baz Luhrmann. This film is rated PG-13 and is 143 minutes.
