Florence Markoff to Appear Onstage at Barrington Public Library
Barrington Public Library and Barrington Preservation Society present “An Evening with former radio personality Florence Markoff” on Thursday, April 3 at 7 PM in the Library Auditorium.
Ms. Markoff is known for her former radio features There’s a Word for It! and Rhode Island Portraits in Sound. The radio broadcasts were solely created by Ms. Markoff who was recently inducted into the Rhode Island Hall of Fame. Her distinctive style brought delight to thousands of radio listeners around southern New England.
Free and open to all. Handicap access is available.
