Living Literature Presents 'The Greatest Gift'

On Sunday, Dec. 2 at 2 pm, Living Literature will perform selections from Philip Van Doren Stern’s “The Greatest Gift.”

This half-hour, two-character readers' theatre presentation shares the charming story that began its life as a self- published, limited-edition Christmas card in 1943. It eventually found its way to the renowned film director, Frank Capra, who made it into the holiday classic, It’s A Wonderful Life.

The presentation tells the story itself plus the story behind the story.
