Ray Rickman will visit Barrington Public Library for an interactive program titled "Value of the Book" on Thursday, March 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

During this program, Mr. Rickman will offer his thoughts on book values drawing on his years of experience as a longtime rare-book dealer in Providence and the former host of “Bestsellers” on Rhode Island Public Television.
In an Antiques Roadshow-type format, Mr. Rickman will cover what makes a book valuable and what types of books have the highest retail value. He will offer complimentary estimates of up to three of your books’ market value.

Mr. Rickman is the founder of The Rickman Group, a Providence-based management consultant firm, offering advice to companies and nonprofits to improve their strategic, financial and operational position and performance. A former state representative, Ray Rickman lectures throughout Rhode Island and beyond on a broad range of historical and cultural topics pertaining to American literature and African American history.
