Pulled Up to the Curb

Driver takes a break for lunch after plowing Barrington Shopping Plaza Wednesday morning.

A bucket loader was spotted in a somewhat unusual spot in Barrington Wednesday morning -- pulled up to the curb in the shopping plaza outside the D'Angelo sandwich shop.

It was almost lunch time so maybe it wasn't such an unusual spot, especially because it's driver had pretty much cleared the parking lot of snow after the second big snowstorm of the season wound down after dumping about 9 inches of the white stuff overnight.

Traffic was moving but very few people were out and about with temperatures hovering at about 12 degrees. The Starbucks was bustling and cars were starting to fill up the shopping plaza lot around noon. But it was still a quiet morning in Barrington.
