Get Organized for Holidays; Garden Club Meets

Test holiday lights; learn holiday tablescapes; Rotary Club meets; tips for an organized holiday.

Flower Power of Barrington needs volunteers today and Wednesday to help test and light the Holiday Balls that will be hung on County Road. Here are the shifts: 9-11 am, 11 am to 1 pm and 1-3 pm at the public works garage on Upland Way.

The Barrington Garden Club meets at noon in the library with Sue Redden, a past president and and accredited and award-winning master judge presenting a program that features festive designs and tablescapes for the holiday season.

The Barrington/Warren Rotary Club meets at the Wharf Tavern at 6:30 pm. This week's speaker is Mary Hassan, administrator for CVS/pharmacy; she will talk about CVS Real Estate.

Learn some organizational tips for a stress-free holiday season from professional organizer Lisa Griffith of Barrington at the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, 16 Cutler St., Warren. The seminar starts at 7 pm.

Take in a movie at the Barrington Senior Center at 12:30 pm every Tuesday.
