Rhode Island Country Club hosts another day of the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship; the library airs the David Bowie movie made by Jim Henson.
The U.S. continues this morning with more match play at the Rhode Island Country Club. Free admission and free parking at the middle school with a shuttle to get you there.
The 1986 David Bowie movie, a British fable directed by Jim Henson of Muppets fame, plays at 7 pm in the Barrington library auditorium.
of Narragansett Bay at the Audubon Environmental Education Center, 1401 Hope St., Bristol at 1 pm. Wear shoes that can get wet. It’s most appropriate for children 6 and older with participants using nets and magnifying glasses to investigate the tidal zone inhabitants. Please pre-register.
