Bayside YMCA Closes Indoor Pool
Construction of the new Bayside YMCA aquatic center getting underway as the indoor pool closes.
The Bayside YMCA closed its indoor pool at the end of the day yesterday, Sunday, Aug. 5, for construction of its new swimming pool.
The outdoor swimming poll will remain open until the summer season ends. And members can swim at other YMCA branches, including the East Side of Providence, Seekonk and Cranston. The Bayside aquatic staff will offer programming at the other branches.
The YMCA announced last week that New England Construction will continue to work on staging, temporary fencing, erosion control methods and tree trimming.
