Since forming in 1995, Mississippi rock band 3 Doors Down has sold more than 16 million albums worldwide. The band’s debut album in 2000, The Better Life, was met with much success as it featured the band’s hit song “Kryptonite” and went six times platinum. In 2012, the band released The Greatest Hits, a collection of its nine #1 hits including “When I’m Gone” and “Here Without You” as well as three new songs. Over the years, 3 Doors Down has garnered three Grammy nominations, won two American Music Awards and five BMI Pop Awards for songwriting, including BMI’s coveted “Songwriter of the Year” award. The opening act is critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter and upright bass player, Amy LaVere, whose music combines a blend of classic country, gypsy jazz and southern soul.  Her latest album release is entitled, Runaway’s Diary.  Local singer-songwriter and guitarist, Emma Joy Galvin, begins the evening on The Point Stage.

After paying his musical dues and playing guitar on The Steve Miller Band's first two albums, Children of the Future and Sailor, Boz Scaggs achieved instant stardom in 1976 when he recorded his smash album, Silk Degrees.  The album reached #2 on the United States charts and produced three hit singles: the Grammy winning "Lowdown" as well as "Lido Shuffle", and "What Can I Say".  Scaggs followed up that success with two Top 20 hits, "Breakdown Dead Ahead" and "Jojo” off his Middle Man album in 1980.  The soulful R&B and blues rocker’s other hits included the Urban Cowboy movie soundtrack, "Look What You've Done to Me" in 1981 and the Top 40 "Heart of Mine" from his 1988 Other Roads album.  Scaggs’ latest album is entitled, Memphis, which celebrates a return to his southern roots.  An opening act for Scaggs has yet to be announced but local folk duo, Lisa Couto & Ray Cook, will get the music started on The Point Stage.

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and founding member of the legendary southern rock and blues group, the Allman Brothers Band, Gregg Allman wrote many of ABB’s classic songs and also penned hits of his own including “Queen of Hearts” and “I’m No Angel”.  Known for his soulful voice and distinctive Hammond B-3 organ playing, his most recent solo album release is the Grammy-nominated Low Country Blues which was produced by T Bone Burnett and shows the true passion Allman has for his own tunes, as well as the special twist he gives songs by blues greats including B.B. King, Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy. The latest tribute to Allman’s vast talents is the soon to be released live album entitled All My Friends which features giants in the music industry, including Vince Gill, Jackson Browne and Widespread Panic, celebrating his catalog of songs.  Allman’s special guest will be Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band which is led by the legendary drummer and founding member of the Allman Brother’s Band, Jai Johanny Johanson, while local singer-songwriter and guitarist, Dean Depalma, will lead-off the concert on The Point Stage.
