Some Customers Still Without Power

National Grid reports this morning that approximately 18 customers in Barrington are still without power after Wednesday afternoon's storms.

Approximately 18 Barrington customers remain without electricity this morning, according to National Grid's power outage map, after severe thunderstorms swept through the area in the late afternoon Wednesday, July 18.

All of the customers are expected to have their power restored by around noon, according to National Grid. But the estimated times of restoration have been changing continuously since yesterday.

National Grid is now reporting power outages in three locations in Barrington: the beach neighborhood, where between 1,000 and 1,500 customers lost power yesterday afternoon; Tyler Point, where a handful of customers lost electricity; and  a stretch of homes along Lincoln Avenue.
