Merchants Pick Dates for Annual Events
Planning for Barrington Blooms, Harvest Stroll and Festival of Lights already underway.
Mark your calendar for several of each year’s most fun events in Barrington.
The Barrington Business Association set dates for its 2014 events at its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the Blue Water Grill.
The kickoff event for Barrington Blooms, the second annual spring fundraiser for the merchants group, has been set for May 1.

Members of the business association also were reminded of a date for feedback to the proposed creation of a Village Center business district.
A public meeting on the plan to erect new directional signs and make approximately $1.7 million worth of improvements to the area between Maple Avenue, West Street, Waseca Avenue and Wood Avenue with a connection to the Barrington Shopping Plaza has been set for Feb. 26 in Town Hall.
