The Nightlife Orchestra continues Barrington’s free Summer Concert Series on Saturday evening with a performance by Narragansett Bay.
Tillinghast Farm on Nayatt Road, the local campus of the Rhode Island School of Design, hosts the third presentation of the series starting at 6:30 pm. Bring your own chairs or blankets.
"The Nightlife Orchestra is one of the few remaining active big bands in the state of Rhode Island," according to its website. "Since its formation in 1988, the band has performed for crowds of all ages and sizes all over Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut and has performed for two serving U.S. presidents. Nightlife brings you the sounds of the big band era through modern jazz and rock."

BankNewport sponsors the town concert series in partnership with the Barrington Recreation Department. Four concerts make up the series; one remains this summer.
The final concert of the series will take place at Barrington Beach on Saturday, Aug. 13. That day also is "beach day" in town with free parking at the beach.
