'Fiddle Night' at Community Center

Barrington's Bay Spring Community Center hosts another Local Brew Coffeehouse on Saturday, March 10, described as a 'fiddle-focused night'.

If you love fiddle music, prepare for a treat on Saturday night, March 10.

It will be “Fiddle Night” at the Bay Spring Community Center – another Local Brew Coffeehouse. The show starts at 7:00 pm on the first floor of the community center.

Seating is limited. So reserve your tickets in advance. Only $5 each. Kids under 12 can attend for free.

“It will be a fiddle-focused night,” said Sydney Monstream Quas, a member of the Local Brew steering group.

Performers will include the Old Fiddlers Club of RI; Sundial; Gypsy Nights featuring Janos Perge; Bud Savoie; Magnolia; Barclay and Steele; Andy and Dustine Reich, and Bay Spring Folk.

The last Local Bree show sold out. Email Montstream-Quas to let her know how many seats you would like reserved, including children.

The first floor is much smaller than upstairs, so there will not be a babysitter at this show. And volunteer crew members are needed. Email Larson Gunness for more information.

The address is 170 Narragansett Ave. – the old fire station building. Park at Atria Bay Spring Village on the corner of Bay Spring Avenue. It’s only a block south to the community center.
