The jazz concert is scheduled each year by the preservation society to celebrate Barrington’s long musical history, including the well-known Barrington Boys’ Choir, according to a press release.

The preservation society will be selling re-recordings of those performances from the mid 20th century after the concert.

This year’s concert is one of the first public performances of this year’s Jazz Ensemble, according to Hughes. It will offer a broad selection of music including selections celebrating the holiday season.

A reception with refreshments will follow the performance. For more information, contact Van Edwards at bvnedwards@gmail.com.
