Watch for Trick-or-Treaters, See 'Chicago'

It's Halloween! Watch out for kids in costumes going door to door tonight; movie musical film series continues with showing of 'Chicago'.

It’s Halloween, and that means trick-or-treaters will be on Barrington’s streets tonight, which means you need to be extra careful when driving around town.

The Barrington library film and lecture series, "Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance!: The Evolution of Movie Musicals," continues this afternoon at 1 in the auditorium with Chicago, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renee Zellweger, and Richard Gere in a screen adaptation of the Broadway musical.

Tennis for moms and kids continues every Wednesday and Friday morning at the Barrington Middle School; a 1-hour kids' drills for children ages 5 - 12 runs at the same time mom play. It goes from 9:30 - 11:30 on Wednesday and and 10:30-12:30 on Friday.

A weekly farmers’ market operates at Haines Memorial State Park in Barrington from 2 to 6 pm every Wednesday.
