One lucky person at Twin River bought a $10,000 winning PowerBall ticket in Saturday's drawing.
The Rhode Island Lottery Commission said the ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall number. The person who bought it did not opt for the Power Play feature, which could have boosted the prize to $50,000 had they done so.
Still, $10,000 is nothing to sneeze at and the ticket has yet to be claimed. So if you were at Twin River recently, double check your ticket.
The lottery commission also said a $10,000 ticket for the Feb. 19 $425 million drawing was claimed by a man from Lincoln. He bought the ticket at Mineral Spring Liquor on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence. Three unclaimed $10,000 tickets remain from that drawing.
Wednesday's estimated PowerBall jackpot is estimated to be $50 million.
