Tennis Club Looking for Winter/Spring Players

The Barrington Neighbors and Newcomers tennis club plays at Centre Court in Riverside.

Submitted by Mary Jo Finkenstaedt.

The Barrington Neighbors and Newcomers tennis club is taking applications for the winter/spring season.

“We organize affordable tennis in a friendly league, and the opportunity to find new tennis partners and friends. We also offer great instruction for beginners to advanced players, and cardio drill classes on the tennis court.  This is a ‘fun’ tennis league, not a ladder league or competitive league like DBH or USTA.”

While our fall season is winding down, the group's tennis pro is organizing Tennis/Cardio Fusion classes on Sunday mornings starting Nov 27 at 9 a.m. and running through Dec 18.  These classes are open to men, women, and teens.  This is a great way to help burn those extra holiday calories.

To register for classes (we need a minimum of five to run the class) call 401-309-1836.
