Fung: Fatal Crash "Is a Part of Me, it's Who I am."

"God knows why my life was spared that day and someone else's was taken."

Those were the words of Cranston Mayor Allan W. Fung to a group of reporters invited to a meeting room in the Chapel Grille restaurant Monday afternoon to address his announcement that he caused a fatal car accident on Route 95 in 1989 when he was a college freshman.

WPD Seeking Missing Boy Last Seen With Mother Jan. 8

The boy was found safe in Washington State after his mother surrendered to authorities.

EP Police Search for Missing Passenger After Car Wreck

East Providence Police were dispatched to 4 Newman Ave. Saturday at 2 a.m. for a single car crash, arresting the driver and searching Lakeside Cemetery for a passenger.

When officers arrived at the address, they found two men standing to the side of a demolished vehicle in the middle of the road.

Daniel Britt Found Safe in Washington State

"He's safe. That's all that matters to me," said a relieved and haggard Sean Britt of his son, Daniel, 6, found in Washington State this evening.

Man Accused of Cooking Meth In Newport Hotel

A man, whose name has not yet been released, is due in Federal District Court Friday after federal agents broke up an alleged methamphetamine operation at the Pineapple Inn in Newport.
