5 Things to Know About Weekend

Here are five things you should know about this weekend, July 13-15, in Barrington:

• Showers today could linger into Saturday before skies clear and sun returns on Sunday and temperatures rise through the low 80s into the high 80s by the end of the weekend.
• Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Ave., hosts its annual “Amazing White Elephant Sale” on Saturday starting at 8 am in the church parking lot.
• The Barrington Congregational Church on County Road hosts its weekly farmers market on Saturday from 9 am to noon. 
• Sing on Sunday in the summer music program choir at Barrington Presbyterian Church on County Road; you can participate whenever you are available starting with a 9:30 am rehearsal before the 10 am service.
• The Barrington United Methodist Church hosts a “community fun day” on Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm at the church on Washington Road.
