5 Things to Know About Today

Warm showers; Readers Theater; multi-age story time; story hour at bookstore; technical review board meets.

Here are five things you should know about today in Barrington:

  1. Cloudy, warm and humid with showers and scattered thunderstorms and a high temperature of around 84 degrees.
  2. “Readers Theater: Unearth the Unground,” the summer reading program at Barrington library for children in grades 5 and 6, continues at 6 pm. Registration is required to attend.
  3. Barrington library also hosts a multi-age story time at 6:30 pm that includes finger rhymes, songs, stories and a short film appropriate for young children. Registration is not required. 
  4. Barrington Books, 184 County Road, hosts a story hour for children every Thursday at 10 am. 
  5. Barrington’s Technical Review Committee meets at 7:30 pm in the Council Chamber in Town Hall.
