YMCA Camp Fuller April 12th Open House

Camp Fuller, Wakefield, Rhode Island (April 8, 2014).  As summertime approaches, its time to start thinking about summer camp opportunities at Camp Fuller! Located on Point Judith Pond in Wakefield, Rhode Island, Camp Fuller is a residential summer camp for girls and boys ages 7-16.

 

Nestled on 64 acres of shore and woodlands, Camp Fuller offers kids a summer get-away full of water and land-based activities. From kayaking to sailing, mountain biking and high ropes, campers develop skills and build strong friendships and memories fostered in the beauty of the outdoors.

This Saturday, April 12th, from 10am-2pm, Camp Fuller is hosting an open house to give you a chance to learn more about the many adventures to be had during one of their one, two, or four week sessions. If you cannot make this date, there is an additional open house scheduled on May 10, or Camp Fuller can arrange a special tour or a home presentation for three or more families if interested.

Besides their traditional camp sessions (one, two or four weeks long), there is also an opportunity to register for Specialty Camps, which will run August 17- August 22. These specialty camps include: Sequest Marine Studies, Point Judith Sailing, On the Edge, Open-Water Scuba, Advanced Scuba, and Leaders in Training.

 

Camp Fuller is located in Wakefield, Rhode Island. It is a branch of the YMCA of Greater Providence and a fully accredited camp by American Camp Association standards, and licensed and inspected by the Rhode Island Department of Public Health.
