Barrington Pop Warner Junior Midgets

The Barrington Pop Warner Junior Midgets sponsored by The Barrington Firemens Union played their second game of the season against the Old Rochester Bulldogs on September 7th. The game was held at the Barrington High School’s Victory field under the lights. The back field of Josh Roy, Finn Kegelman, Evan Pomfret & Max DiMonte ran well behind the offensive line of Jake Bassignani, Andrew Faria, Nick Lowe, Derrick Rao, Sam Jurgeleit, Lucas Cobery & Patrick Fitzhugh. Quarterback Nick Roach threw a couple of nice passes including a 1 point conversion to Lucas Cobery after he ran the ball in for a touchdown. The defense made the bulldogs earn every yard they gained with great tackling and pursuit of the ball from Ryan Brady, Bryan Butera, Zach Newberg, Shaheer Yasin, Liam McManus, David Ramano, Oskar Schnippering, Nick Loew, Evan Pomfret, Nick Roach, Sam Jurgeleit, Lucas Cobery, Andrew Faria & Jake Bassignani. Team Manager Gregg Despines helped during the game with the game ball and water during time outs.
