Barrington High School FBLA supports the less fortunate with delicious fun!

A gingerbread house making event at BHS, with all proceeds going to Tap-In

[Barrington, RI] – Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students at BHS will join others across the nation during the month of December to celebrate the holidays while providing for those who have fewer resources to use for celebration.  As it has done in the past, BHS will have a fun, family-oriented event that will spread holiday cheer to both the fortunate and less-fortunate members of our community. There will be refreshments, and, if a toy is donated at the event, the price will drop from $15 to $8.

At a time when many don’t have enough to provide their children with toys or even a holiday dinner, FBLA programs across the nation are ensuring everyone has the opportunity to make their children happy. Given the state of the American economy, the role of charitable events such as these is increasingly important.
