  • Plenty of sunshine with a high temperature around 49 degrees.
  • The Barrington Pop Warner Pee Wee cheer team is heading to the national championship competition at Disney World starting on Saturday. It could use your help to cover the expense of competing. Consider making a donation at its Facebook page or send donations to: P.O. Box 192, Barrington 02806.
  • The Graphic Novel Making Club meets every Wednesday from 3-5 pm in the teen room of the Barrington library. Create a graphic novel and have it finished on the room’s binding machine.
  • Roger Williams University continues its Great Films series on Wednesday with the Stanley Kubrick’s epic film, ”2001: A Space Odyssey.” It will be shown in the Global Heritage Hall Building, Room G01, 1 Old Ferry Road, Bristol.
  • The Federalist Society is hosting a debate on the Second Amendment – the right to bear arms -- at the Roger Williams University School of Law, 10 Metacom Ave., Bristol at 1 pm. This event is open to the public.
