'School's Out' Gets Going; Library Offers 'Game Night' for Teens

Here are some things to know about today in and around Barrington.

Here are a few things to know about today in and around Barrington:

  • There is a possibility of a few snow showers with temperatures reaching up to around 41 degrees.
  • School’s Out, the Barrington Recreation Department program for kids ages 6-12, starts at the middle school during the holiday break. Morning and afternoon sessions are scheduled with a host of activities each day. Click here for more information.
  • Disney on Ice starts its long weekend run of shows at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence. Shows are at 1 and 5 pm. Here is the schedule for the rest of the ice show's appearance in Rhode Island: Friday, 11 am, 3 pm & 7 pm; Saturday, 11 am, 3 pm & 7 pm; Sunday, 12 pm & 4 pm, Monday, December 30, 12 pm & 4 pm.
