Hear Choral Concert at BHS; Get Geek Photo Taken at Library

Here are some things to know about today in Barrington.

Here are some things you may want to know about today, Dec. 10, in and around Barrington:

  • Snow showers in the morning will give way to a mix of rain and snow in the afternoon with a high temperature of 36 degrees.
  • The annual Winter Choral Concert starts at 7 pm in the John Gray Auditorium at Barrington High School.
  • Whatever you geek, share it with friends and family at the Barrington library by having your photo taken at the What Do You Geek Photo Booth between 3:30 and 6:30 pm. The photo will be modeled after the “I Geek” posters and flyers that have been posted in the library this fall.
  • Teens, draw and sculpt dragons in celebration of Smaug's appearance in the upcoming Hobbit film, The Desolation of Smaug, at the Barrington library at 6:30 pm. Watch some scenes from the first installment, as well as the trailer for the next one.
  • The Barrington Conservation Commission meets at 7:30 pm in the School Committee Meeting Room in Town Hall.
