Zoning Board Meeting Cancelled; Learn About 'Obamacare'

  • The Barrington Zoning Board of Review meeting scheduled for tonight has been cancelled; all items on the agenda will be handled at the November meeting.
  • The East Bay Chamber of Commerce holds its annual awards dinner and election of 2014 officers at Jacky's Galaxie, 383 Metacom Ave., Bristol, starting with a 5:30 social hour and followed at 6:30 pm by the dinner. 
  • The open gym men’s basketball drop-in program operated by the Barrington Recreation Department starts at the Barrington Middle School. Men 18 and older are welcome to play every Thursday from 7 to 9 pm.
