Heartworks Walks For MS!

Barrington High School, 220 Lincoln Ave, Barrington, RI | Get Directions »
$10.00

Join Heartworkers and Barrington Firefighters and WALK for Families in Barrington experiencing the effects of Multiple Sclerosis.  MS is currently affecting over 5 families in our town. All these families have children.  That means over 10 children in town are living in a home where their mom or dad is struggling as a result of this disease.

Take a moment to imagine how that must feel to have your health compromised.  Would you be able to hop on your bike for a sunday bike ride? would getting out of the car to sit on the sidelines of your child's game take an abundance of energy and effort and leave you too exhausted to make dinner?

Please, please come for a morning filled with fun, games and kindness and all the proceeds we generate from the WALK will go directly to making life feel slightly more easier for these children and their parents!  Your PARTICIPATION would also show these families that YOU CARE about them and that their town is a town of loving people.

Join US!

Love,

Heartworks & the Awesome Barrington Firefighters!

More About Barrington High School

Barrington High School

Barrington High School

220 Lincoln Ave, Barrington, RI
401-247-3150

The high school is recognized as one of the best in Rhode Island, and it has a tradition of academic excellence and a mission to challenge each student to reach his or her highest level of achievement.  A diverse array of extracurricular activities and sports complement learning. In short, according to Principal Joseph D. Hurley, the school is building a professional learning community with "an extremely dedicated staff that continues to push forward and has a willingness to change," and "a student body that has a willingness to learn." Parents also are heavily involved in the school, and everyone wants to make things even better, Hurley says. The high school has two assistant principals, Michael Messore and Nicole Varone, and an athletics director, George Finn.
