The Rhode Island Rebels, the area’s elite travel baseball program, will conduct open tryouts for the 2013 season for all of its age groups Oct. 27-28, 2012 at the Bomb Squad Baseball Company, 1174 Kingstown Rd., Wakefield

RI Rebels tryouts will be held at the following days and times:

• 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U teams:         

Saturday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

• 13U & 14U:

Saturday, Oct. 27, 1-3 p.m.

• 15U, 16U, 17U & 18U:

Sunday, Oct. 28, 5- 8 p.m.

There is no fee to tryout. Interested participants must register at www.bombsquadri.com.

About the Rhode Island Rebels

The Rhode Island Rebels is the area’s elite travel baseball program. The programs is directed by founder Phil Davidson, the former standout pitcher at North Carolina State, RI Gatorade Player of the Year and two-time All-Stater at Toll Gate High.

In the last four years, more than 85 Rebels players have gone on to play at the college level. The Rebels train out of the Bomb Squad Baseball Company (www.bombsquadri.com).

Located in the Palisades Mill Complex Wakefield, RI, the 13,000 square foot facility features eight batting cages, three pitching cages with five real compacted clay mounds and an area to practice game-time situations.
