My Top 5 Favorite Barefoot Books

1. I Took the Moon for a Walk

A dreamy and beautifully illustrated story of a boy who takes the moon for a walk, and it's a bedtime favorite in our household. As your child grows, there are also endnotes that explain the different lunar phases as well as the kinds of creatures that come out to play in the nighttime. (ages 1 - 7 years)

2. The World Atlas

If you love maps I cannot recommend this book enough. Organized in geographical regions, it shows the interconnectedness of our planet and how cultures across the world have been shaped by their natural environment. (for all ages)

3. The Animal Boogie

This bold, colorful book comes with an enhanced CD so you can sing along while you read, watch the animated version, or play the karaoke track so you can get down and boogie! (ages 1 - 7 years)

4. My Granny Went to Market

Introduce your little one to different cultures around the globe as Granny takes a counting and rhyming magic carpet trip. (ages 3 - 7 years)

5. My Babushka

A sweet story about gratitude for the little gifts we all have to give. A great holiday gift! (ages 3 - 7 years)
