Barrington Community Theatre, A town of Barrington Program, is having a fundraiser Murder Mystery dinner theatre at the Wharf Tavern in Warren. The play, Directed by Kelly McCabe, a long time Barrington Community theatre Staff member, is “ It’s All Over But the Shooting”, It is a comedic Whodunnit and gives the actors a chance to work with professionals and get paid for acting instead of paying to do Theatre. Actors from age 10-30 will be in the show and for several this will be their first paying job.
After paying for the meals and the actors, the producer’s cut of the money will go to BEST Scholarships. Best Scholarships funds scholarships for actors to do Barrington Community Theatre, which allows those who cannot afford to pay the full amount to do the program. Best scholarships have awarded over $30,000 in scholarships over the years.
The Shows are Friday February 1st and Feb 3rd at 6:30 At the Wharf Tavern. There are 3 choices for dinner, Sole Francois, Chicken Marsala and Thin sliced Prime rib in Gravy. For children there is Chicken fingers and fries.
