The Barrington Youth Basketball League (BYBL) has two championship teams.

Barrington's 5th-grade boys Division 2 team had an outstanding season, winning the regular season division championship with a 10-2 record, according to Todd Rywolt, the team's coach.

The Barrington 8th grade boys Division 3 team "had a fantastic run in the league's post-season tournament, defeating Easton, Dedham and Mansfield in route to the tournament championship," said Rywolt.

This past season was the Barrington Youth Basketball League's second year participating in the highly competitive Metro West travel basketball league. Nine Barrington teams participated in the Metro West league this winter, seven boys teams and two girls teams, he said.

"BYBL sends a big thanks as well to all of our coaches and players for an exciting season," Rywolt said.
